Cedarman is a proprietary blend of fruit from both Rattlesnake Ridge and Dragon Vineyards, located at the top of Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. Although primarily Zinfandel, we use a small amount of Petite Syrah from the Rattlesnake vineyard as well. The result is a truly powerful, dense and wild wine, long on flavor.

Opaque ruby-purple, the 2021 Zinfandel Cedarman has broody aromas of dark briary fruit with touches of menthol, graphite and earth. The full-bodied palate is coiled and concentrated at this stage, although it has a harmonious structure and nuanced finish that suggests it will unwind gracefully in bottle over the next decade.

Deeply structured and zesty yet retains a sense of refinement, offering full-bodied wild berry patch, grilled anise and savory pepper flavors that build richness toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2032. 1,510 cases made.
