Our Wine Team was all very impressed with the Thurston Wolfe lineup from Washington State. Very well-made wines, at terrific prices, especially considering their quality. This is a particular favorite of mine!
Very well-made Petite Sirah by Thurston Wolfe. Instead of the over-extracted style that has become popular, this is a wine of structure, breadth and deep black fruit flavors.
Very Limited, Rated 93WA. This is the epitome of balance and finesse. I won't have any left to find out, but I'd love to revisit this wine in 5 years to see how it has evolved. Drink now, or cellar!
Zinfandel from Washington State? I was confused about that myself... until I tried this wine! Terrific Zin, with all the bright fruit that you're looking for!
