I know we've all just finished our most stressful time of year, so I know that the last thing that many people want to see is something having to do with more shopping, but I wanted to start 2012 off with a bang!
Well, what makes more of a statement than a 91 Point Wine Advocate rated wine that we are selling for $9.99 per bottle! Not much can touch this one!
The wine is called Vinos de Arganza Lagar de Robla Premium Mencia 2008, but to make this easier, just call it Lagar de Robla. This wine is made from the Mencia grape, which is a common grape in the Bierzo region in Spain, which is where this wine comes from. In the new world style of many Spanish wines now, Mencia is turned into a rich, heavy, concentrated and complex wine, as is the case with the Lagar de Robla.
From the Wine Advocate - Rated 91 Points - "The 2008 Lagar de Robla Premium Mencia spent 18 months in American oak. It is the most complex of these Mencia offerings displaying density, opulence, and length. This pleasure-bent effort can be enjoyed now but will drink well for a decade."
Best of all, according to the Wine Advocate, this wine has a release price of $18! Our $9.99 price really looks like a bargain now! Come on by and try this delicious wine, and start your 2012 off on a wine tasting adventure!
Cheers!
