2010 Domaine les Grands Bois - Cotes du Rhone Villages Cuvee Philippine
Hard to Find!

Rated 91 Points by the Wine Advocate - "The 2010 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Cuvee Philippine is composed of equal parts Syrah and Grenache blended with 15% Carignan from 12-80 year old parcels. Bottled unfiltered, it exhibits an opaque purple color along with a deep nose of black currants, black cherries, licorice and lavender. Complex, medium to full-bodied, rich and dense, it is a heck-of-a-bargain that should drink nicely for 3-4 years."

2006 Michele Chiarlo - Barolo Tortoniano
Seen elsewhere on the Internet from $44.99. Wine Spectator Release Price - $90!!

Rated 93 Points by the Wine Spectator - "A supple, harmonious red, full of sweet cherry, strawberry, licorice and leather flavors. This is fresh and the tannins are round and ripe, all ending with a long, mineral aftertaste. Best from 2012 through 2028. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 5,000 cases imported."

Rated 91 Points by the Wine Advocate - "The 2006 Barolo Tortoniano is a beautiful wine with gorgeous depth and intensity in its dark red fruit, spice, flowers and licorice. The Tortoniano deftly balances richness and concentration with what is essentially a fairly medium-bodied style. The sweet, perfumed fruit carries the wine effortlessly through the soft, enveloping finish. This is a beautiful effort from Chiarlo. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2026."

2006 Senorio de Barahonda - Bellum El Principio
Lowest Price Anywhere!

Rated 91 Points Wine Advocate - "Bellum%u2019s 2005 and 2006 El Providencia bottlings are notable values listed on the Best Buy chart at the end of this report. The 2006 Bellum El Principio is 100% Monastrell sourced from 65- to 85-year-old vines. Deep crimson-colored, it offers an uplifted perfume of spice box, mineral, and blueberry. On the palate the wine reveals a forward personality with excellent flavors, velvety tannins, and 2-3 years of aging potential. It will provide pleasure through 2015."
