Dear Varmax Customers,
I can't believe that next week is the week before Thanksgiving! Time definitely flies! I know there's always going to be a last minute rush to get something at the grocery store, and even here at the wine and liquor store, but it doesn't hurt to knock some of the things off of your long to-do lists. That's why right now is the best time to do your wine shopping! If you live outside of the state of NY, we can right now still ship via Ground, and your purchase will get to your door before Thanksgiving! No worries, no stress, and you don't even have to pay extra for faster shipping!
Our featured wine today is a highly rated Cotes du Rhone Villages from Andre Brunel. The Andre Brunel Cotes du Rhone-Villages Cuvee Sabrine 2009 was recently given an astounding score of 92 Points in the Wine Advocate in the most recent issue. We are lucky to have been able to get our hands on a pile of cases, which I am offering to you right now on a first come, first served basis. Although we have a large quantity in stock, I imagine that with this review, and with the fantastic price of $13.99 per bottle, this wine will go fast!
Rated 92 Points by the Wine Advocate - "The Andre Brunel 2009 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Cuvee Sabrine, which comes from Brunel’s holdings in Tavaillan, is composed of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre. It possesses more structure as well as more black and blue fruit characteristics. Blackberry, blueberry, lavender, tobacco leaf and meaty notes are intermixed with the tell-tale kirsch component that comes from ripe Grenache. This offering displays slightly more tannin and definition than the Cuvee Sommelongue, and is a big, hefty Cotes du Rhone-Villages that should drink well for 7-8 years."
Grab some of this delicious Cotes du Rhone while it lasts, and I hope to see or hear from you before the Thanksgiving holiday!
Cheers!
