Sale Prices on Very Highly Rated Wines from Clarendon Hills

Share |

Today's newsletter features three very special wines hailing from Australia. All made by the prestigious Clarendon Hills, we are very excited to offer these three wines at these very low sale prices. If you're a fan of Robert Parker and the Wine Advocate, you'll be pleased to see that of these three wines featured today, two of them have a 96 Point rating, and one a 97 Point rating!

What I didn't know until just now was the history of Clarendon Hills. Located in South Australia, and founded by Roman Bratasiuk, a biochemist, in 1980, Clarendon Hills has strived from then until now to make wines in styles made famous in the wines that he loved. With no viticulture or winemaker training, Roman developed Clarendon Hills with only his passion for wine, his palate, and his biochemistry background. Well, I'll say he succeeded!

At Clarendon Hills, Roman and his winemaking team do what many wineries and vineyard managers set out to do, which is to both emulate the wines that they love and that brought them to hold a passion for wine, while also crafting wines that show a sense of place, and are distinct to the areas in which they are made. This is the balance that many wineries and winemakers strive for, and what Roman and the Clarendon Hills team succeeded at.

We are pleased to feature three of the Clarendon Hills Syrahs from the 2005 vintage here today, at sale prices! As always, you will save an additional 10% when purchasing by the 12 bottle case, or as part of a mixed case of 12 bottles or more of 750ml still wine.

The wines are all listed below, along with their rating, description, and sale prices. Please feel free to call or send an email with any questions. These wines are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Cheers!
