Another great wine with a terrific rating and an even better price! It's nice when you pull up price comparison websites, and find yourself right at the top with the lowest price! Of course, If I'm excited about that, I'm sure you all will be too!

Today's featured wine is the Oliverhill Red Silk Shiraz 2008 from Australia. Rated 91 Points by the Wine Advocate, with a writeup that will make your mouth water, don't miss out on this wine at this fantastic price - it won't last long!

Rated 91 Points by the Wine Advocate - "The 2008 Red Silk Shiraz is opaque purple/black with a bouquet of cedar, damp earth, lavender, incense, black raspberry, and blueberry preserves, Rich, concentrated and layered on the palate, it is loaded with sweet, savory black fruit, spices, and chocolate. Smooth-textured and lengthy, it will drink well for a decade."

An interesting tidbit about the winery, and something that I've never seen before on a winery's website, is that Oliverhill is registered with the Vegan Society, all wines are vegan, and "cruelty free". So, as you take a sip, remember, no animals were harmed in the making of this wine!
