Another Exciting New Arrival!
While I'm sitting here writing this newsletter, as if this wine needed more reasons to earn a place on your dinner table, I realized that our price of $14.99 per bottle (and that's before our 10% case discount) is the lowest price that I saw on wine-searcher!
I was happily surprised when I tasted this wine last week. I already knew that it had received a 90 Point rating from the Wine Advocate, and having tasted many wines that were comparable in rating and price, I was expecting an overextracted fruit bomb type of wine...which wasn't the case at all. Don't let those words fool you - this wine has layer upon layer of ripe fruit, but also maintains a great balance, leading to (my favorite part) the finish, where the tannin mixes with the ripe fruit, to linger on your palate.

Aromas of toasty cedar, lavender, licorice, and assorted black fruits inform the nose of a round, rich, layered wine that exemplifies the superb 2009 vintage in Ribera del Duero. It is an outstanding value meant for drinking over the next 5-7 years."
